Update August 24 2022: A number of atWork Australia Disability Employment Services (DES) contracts have been impacted in the recent Australian Government reallocation process and we will work closely with transitioning clients to support them. The reallocation has impacted 50% of the providers in the sector nationally, across 215 contracts.

atWork Australia have been delivering DES on behalf of the Australian Government since 2003 and continue to deliver high quality services across 52 regions of Australia. Since July 1, 2018 (the current DES contract), atWork Australia have supported over 25,000 Australians into meaningful and sustainable work. In 2021, through Australia’s COVID-19 lockdown and the repercussions of this on the labour market and economy, atWork Australia supported 10,000 clients into work. Connecting people and business so both can thrive remains atWork Australia’s core purpose, now and into the future.

atWork Australia’s clients are at the heart of everything we do, and it is our priority to continue to support all clients who will transition to a new provider, as well as supporting clients in transitioning to our services in areas where other providers are exiting.

DES clients’ mutual obligations are currently suspended from 22 August 2022 until 23 October 2022, whilst this transition process takes place.

If you’re a current atWork Australia DES client and would like further assistance on transferring providers due to reallocation, or if you are a client of an exiting provider looking for support, please call us on 1300 080 856.
