Good news from atWork Australia.

After feeling stressed in his previous role and seeking a change, Matthew (35) entered the atWork Australia office in Warrawong, NSW, looking for support.

Upon entering the office, Matthew was met with Nathan, his future Job Coach. Together the pair would prove to be an amazing duo in the coming weeks.

Matthew’s first appointment consisted of Nathan getting to know him, his goals, his strengths, as well as his weaknesses, to ensure that his job plan would be catered to his situation and journey.

After this plan was developed, the pair jumped straight in and discussed positions that Matthew would enjoy and that catered to his skills.

Matthew had a particular interest in working as a coal unloader, so Nathan looked into all of the necessary courses and tickets that he needed to work within the industry. These courses included: RISI ticket and a White Card. He was later booked into these courses.

Nathan and the Warrawong team were able to further financially support Matthew by purchasing work clothing and fuel vouchers. Matthew was grateful for this additional support.

After successfully completing all of his training, Nathan began searching for suitable positions, and after no time, Matthew was invited for an interview. Upon completion, he was offered the position.

After working in this position for several months, Nathan is happy to report that Matthew is enjoying his role, just as much as the day he got it.

Matthew is grateful for all the support he received and stated that he would not be in this position without atWork Australia’s support.
