As of 2 July 2018, atWork Australia is delighted to be delivering the new Australian Government initiative ParentsNext, to help families across the Perth South Metro area.
The addition of the ParentsNext contract will see atWork Australia, the employment services division of the Work Health Group, further expand the services they currently provide which include Disability Employment Services, jobactive, VTEC and Career Pathway Pilot for Refugees.
Through the ParentsNext program, local parents will receive personalised service, including identifying education and employment goals, developing a pathway to achieve them and linking them to a range of activities and services in the local community.
atWork Australia will focus on helping parents with children under the age of six by tailoring an individualised pre-employment plan, providing early intervention assistance to support them to prepare for future employment.
“ParentsNext is a wonderful opportunity to provide meaningful support to parents. Our team will help them identify and address barriers to employment and to develop practical skills so they can successfully transition back into the workforce,” said atWork Australia’s General Manager, Michael Kolomyjec.
The ParentsNext program is expected to help around 68,000 parents across Australia to plan and prepare for employment by the time their children are ready for school.
